On Friday 28th July the choir was delighted to be the opening act for this year's Edge Festival in Solva. Typical festival weather was forecast but the sun came out just as the ladies began to sing and the rain stayed away for the whole of their 45 minute performance. They sang to a very appreciative audience and introduced a new piece - Viva La Vida (recorded by Coldplay) to an upbeat backing track - to the watching festival goers.
This amazing experience was followed by a summer dinner at the Rising Sun Inn.
